Lattice Topology Over Foaming
Traditional footwear relies on chemical foaming of Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) and expanded Thermoplastic Polyurethane (E-TPU). However, injection foaming locks the sole into isotropic energy absorption. Modern photopolymer footwear resins enable functionally graded 3D lattices—varying stiffness across calcaneus, medial arch, and metatarsals within a single continuous print run without tooling overhead.
